Happy Halloween!
Thanks, Remmi! Interesting report.
ReplyDeleteI first off found it hilarious that the commercial they force you to watch right before the report is from a law firm, who asks the question: "Been injured at work?"
Ha! I guess one could say Reid was injured at work, (well, his feelings, anyway), if one can call filming 'The Bachelorette' work.
While I found it surpisingly naive that these people would think baring their love and lives on tv would not have any impact on their lives afterwards, I didn't realize that Reid had had so many 'stalker' moments. Imagine having someone hacking into his e-mails and erasing some! And now the FBI is involved. Wow.
What is befuddlingly fascinating is that these reality stars say they would repeat the same experience, despite how it has changed their lives for the worse.
I guess what the report didn't tell us is how it has also changed their lives for the better. I believe Reid said his business is flourishing as a result.
I wonder how many of those listings he received were from women 'wooers'?
Rem,
ReplyDeleteGracias for bringing that over here. Even on the news, he seems a bit awkward, yet adorable. I hope, for his sake, that things return to normal soon. I did read on the TeamReid board that another vid's posted in which he does say that he did love Jill but has moved passed it. Good for him.
So, who wants to support Leen's Reid Rehab Regime? Time to cut the crack ;) I feel like I finally got all the answers I was looking for regarding what was fantasy vs. reality. (I do have an article I'll post that I think M will find very interesting.)
Tonight, I'm relaxing with my pooch. Tomorrow, I was called into cover a shift, so it put a damper on my Halloween plans. Instead, Sawy and I will be watching Clue and turning into bed before the witch flies over the moon at midnight.
Happy Halloween, friends.
Lovely Lass,
ReplyDeleteGive your adorable Sawy a big pat on the head from me and a scratch behind each ear.
You have my support, as you enter the Reid Rehab Regime! Remember, though, that I think he was one of the good guys in all this manoeuvering. I think he truly got hurt and came out bewildered.
So... although you don't want to be one of those stalkers of his, nor would you necessarily rule out thinking he is a great guy and worthy of your attention. What he showed of himself on tv I believe was real.
Happy Halloween to all. I am sitting here, unwisely consuming all the chocolate I bought for the kiddies, as zero kiddies have come to my door tonight.
I live in a neighbourhood where the houses are far apart and the driveways are long. Too labour-intensive, so the kids gravitate to the high-density neighbourhoods.
I usually get a smattering of kids (to whom I give vast amounts of chocolate) but tonight -- not one knock on the door, not one giggly "Trick or Treat!"
And this year, for the first time, daughter has chosen not to go door-to-door.
Sigh. The ushering in of a new era -- the teen years...
Next year, I will not go so crazy buying chocolate at Costco.
The end of 2 eras...how sad :( A Reid-free zone for LL and the first sign that you're little girl is no longer a child, M......big sigh, to you both!
ReplyDeleteLeeny-Lou, did you name your pooch after a certain Lost character? How fun! It will be interesting to see where they go with Lost this season after last season's finale. I've been meaning to ask you how you've been enjoying FlashForward. This show completely stresses me out!?! Are you up to date? There were some interesting developments last episode!!
Hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour sleep this morning. I sure did however the early darkness tonight will be a bummer....
Yes, Rems, I DID relish that extra hour! I certainly needed it, as I came crashing down after my humungous chocolate/sugar high of last night....
ReplyDeleteHopefully, I've now got it out of my system!
Rems,
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was a character named Sawyer on LOST until everyone started asking me if my pup was named after him.
Sawy's named after Tom Sawyer, my favorite Mark Twain novel and childhood story.
As for FF, I am behind. I have the next three days off. When I get caught up with real life obligations, I'll get down to watching it.
