Several BB posters have commented on the mysterious rose featured in this ET clip with Jake. In addition to that detail, I wanted to share this video as another side of Jake. I must admit, he's really growing on me. He just seems like he's a simple, nice guy. He might not have much to say, but he cares so much about the things he loves. I hope that, if not on the Bachelor, he finds a woman who will love him for that wonderful quality.

Thanks for posting that Leen. I agree, it does give more positive insight into Jake and I am starting to like him more too. I am glad he didn't end up with Jillian.

I'll have to look at what BB posters think about that rose. A souvenier from last season seems the most obvious.

Regarding the rose, it's a long-stem rose, so it's believed that it's a remnant of this season. But why? Is it the final rose he never gave out? Is it a rose someone gave to him?
I have my theories :)
Beyond that, I just really enjoyed the Jake of this video. He is quite creative and talented. :)
I will try this again. I enjoyed the tape and am really warming toward Jake after viewing it. He's not Reid but there will never be another Reid as he's as unique as you get.
ReplyDeleteAbout the rose - do you think he saved the last rose Jillian gave him? Seems odd if he did since he's the new Bachelor and should have moved past that now.
OMG, how did I miss all of this on the MB!?! I'm with Leen in that the final Rose Jilly game him would have been a boutineer. I think the rose might be "the final rose" and perhaps Jake didn't dole it out at the FRC??? Hmmmmmmmm.....that would throw the MB in to a frenzy since the consensus seems to be that Reality Steve has spoiled the ending. I've always thought that it could be a diversionary tactic by Fleiss.

ReplyDeleteAs usual, you are way ahead of me when it comes to figuring out the 'clues' Fleiss dangles for us. Could it be that Jake gave that rose to someone who actually said "No sorry" when he asked "will you accept this rose." I believe that would be a first. What the implications of that might be, I'll have to contemplate.
