Anyone else watch this show? I highly recommend it if you aren't. It's a co-production with the CBC in Canada and Showtime in the US. Last night was the Season 3 finale which I have not watched yet but can't wait to. If you appreciate costume and set design elements, they rival some of the best made for television productions I have ever seen. It is highly provocative sexually, extremely controversial religiously and for the most part, historically accurate.
Remmi gives it two thumbs way up!

Hey Rem,
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to watch The Tudors but now feel as if I have to rent the DVDs of earlier seasons in order to get into it. It's a highly acclaimed show and so I know it's worth watching!
I wonder if our American friends have access to it on any tv channel in the States?
Hey M - you must watch the series starting with episode 1, season 1. You might be able to catch up on line but personally I prefer watching DVD's. It follows a historical timeline. I believe our American friends get it on Showtime in the US.
ReplyDeleteI have watched Season 1 and I loved it. LOVE Henry Cavill... ooo gives my heart the flutters! :) So well done. Need to catch up with the rest of the seasons.
ReplyDeleteHeidi, I love Henry Cavill as well! He is defintitely swoon worthy and only gets better in Seasons 2 & 3. He was also in the most recent Woody Allen film, Whatever Works :)
ReplyDeleteI love him so much it causes me to make spelling mistakes on my blog posts :(
ReplyDeleteI second that emotion! I watched till the end of Anne Boelyn last year, but haven't gone back to see the following seasons. Henry was definitely my favorite character and I only wished we saw more of him. Thanks for reminding me about him. Has anyone seen him in anything else?
