Seems JED is being invited to appear at promotional events in Chicago these days.
When recently at the opening of a Victoria Secret, they both, rather gauchely, proclaimed that "no bra, no panties" was the preferred dress code.
A bit of a slap in the face to the huge women's lingerie chain they were supposedly there to promote.
Shortly after that, they were seen at a party hosted by Corzo restaurant. Apparently, they didn't have any trouble enjoying the promotional products this time: tempura and tequila.

Bachelorette’s Jillian & Ed: Panty-Free Is the Way to Be!
October 22, 2009
The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris and her fiancĂ© Ed Swiderski stepped out Wednesday to pick up some sexy unmentionables at the new Victoria’s Secret store on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue because, she says, “I feel like I’m a little down on my lingerie collection.”
Not that Ed is complaining. When asked what he thinks is the sexiest thing a woman could wear, he responded, “No panties.” Jillian gave a similar answer, claiming she thought “no bra” was the sexiest way to go.

Ed Swiderski and Jillian Harris
Even after other dinner guests started to trickle out, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski stuck around late at new Chicago Asian eatery Sunday drinking tequila and chatting with the restaurant's owner. The couple attended a Corzo-hosted private party – in the restaurant's back room – and shared sushi and rock shrimp tempura with their friends. Earlier this week, Harris and Swiderski celebrated the opening of a new Victoria's Secret store on Chicago's Michigan Avenue.

Oh, dear. I'm utterly flabbergasted by these two. Not only by the media's portrayal of them, but the validity of that portrait. And to think that early on, I loved Jill--and was rather protective of her--because she reminded me of one of my girls, even, of me.
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting juxtaposition against Reid's "I don't kiss and tell." Would Rilly have made it this far if, indeed, this is Jill's character?
Or is Jill a chameleon adjusting to whomever the beau?
I just can't envision such comments being uttered if she were a Philly socialite.
This far out of the show's gate, I feel certain that Jill and Ed will stick it out for whatever reason. Maybe it's business. Maybe it's for her Visa. Maybe it's money. Maybe it's love.
Soooo odd.
I think it's love. Jillian truly believes she loves Ed and that Ed now loves her.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the absence of her feelings of self-worth, convincing her that she doesn't deserve better than a man who has cheated and probably will cheat on her again.
A comment she once made about always "taking boyfriends back" makes a lot of sense now.
I wonder if she's ever asked Ed the hard questions, like:
1. Why, early in the show, did you say to your friends that you were in no way attracted to me?
2. Why did you leave the show on false pretenses, lie to me, continue to date other women and then return?
3. Why did you deny your affairs at first and then excuse them as part of your "bachelor lifestyle"?
4. When so much of our experience together has been based on lies, how can I ever trust you in the future?
5. When the glamour of the show and of celebrityhood is over and our lives become routine, will your eyes wander again?
More examples of how it never would have worked for Rilly....
