I took a quick peek at the BB today and the die-hards posted a link to a radio interview Reid did today. I can't copy the link into this post unfortunately but there's a thread titled "Audio - Reid's Interview from Today" where the audio link is. There is another thread titled "REID on Cosmo Radio Now" which details the interview. Rumours are still flying regarding SEXT-GATE and when Reid was asked about it, he took the high road. He's a class act, our Reid!
Off to Penticton tomorrow for the wedding! Talk to you when I return.

Not sure if anyone else had problems, but that audio would not load for me. But there is a thread over at the Bach that pretty much provided a "transcript" of their conversation.
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting. the thread is titled something like "Reid on Cosmo Radio". right now it's on page 2 if you're interested. He refused to comment on the Jill/Ed stuff going on right now and said "no comment" on the question regarding whether or not he would be the next bachelor.
I have not been back to the BB for days so have been unaware of the rumors.

ReplyDeleteI just quit Reid, then you remind me of every, single thing I adore about his Supreme Hotness. Considering that we were getting married in, oh, a year, it was a teeny bit uncomfortable hearing him flirt with the DJ, but that seems to be the trend among the Bachelorette contestants. I blame it on him being a follower ;)
He did steal my heart when he said that he tossed his list and now focuses on her personality and their companionship. Sigh. Good job, kid. With that mentality, you'll find her, just DO NOT sign on the dotted line with Fleiss. No, no, no.
Honestly, he's remarkably intuitive and emotionally intelligent. Probably from his relationship with his mom, he conveys a great understanding of women.
My favorite Reidism of the interview: Men are dogs. Most are.

He'll always be dreamy. One lucky girl will snag this guy:)

I too couldn't get the audio to work. Someone has put the audio together with still pics of Reid and placed that on YouTube. Search "Reid Rosenthal Interview (Part 1/6)" and then, of course, "Reid Rosenthal interview (Part 2/6)" and so on.
ReplyDeleteI truly enjoyed Reid on the interview (Diana, the interviewer not so much). Reid's intelligence and charm were very much present. He would not allow Diana to box him in with hypotheticals. He spoke candidly. He said women should hold off on the sexual intimacy until much later in a relationship, so she can guage the quality of the man. He talked about how women use questions to learn a man's financial status without asking outright (What part of town do you live in?). I must really be naive; I never thought of that! He remains humble, honest and, yes, heartbroken.
