Anyone else feeling a little blue tonight (or turquoise in my case) with the lack of REID-TV? I was away for a few days and see there has been plenty of action on the blog. Way to go! I will probably not be able to fully catch up for a few days. I have guests arriving tomorrow and I head west on Thursday but I'm looking forward to catching up soon!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. It's the Civic Holiday here in Canada today and I'm on vacation this week....woot woot!

Holy Shitake Mushrooms Batman. I am going nuckingfuts trying to figure out what to do with my night. I actually watched Disney Channel with my daughter tonight. Okay if I hear one more Hannah Montana song...it almost makes me wax nostalgic for Weasel. I am trying to decide if i would rather be put into a diabetic coma from the Jonas Brothers or listen to Weasel. When she asked me to read something I got excited until I figured out it meant doing something with my eyes and words and stuff. That's pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteI found myself looking longingly at the fruits and vegetables in produce department and wondering how meticulously they had been washed, or if someone had scratched their butt..y'all know the rest of that story.
How bad is it that I miss staring at the TV trying to find any minute clue as to what is going to happen next. Waiting to hear what new cute saying will fall from Reid's mouth. I even miss Ed's mankini. People I need help. Anyone have an idea of a 12 step program? They would have to have lattes made with soy milk(grande size), comfy couches, and snacks( I prefer Spanish oranges). Was a great TV series, I choose not to think about how many years ago. Jeremy Irons was the lead and he was very young!
Then again, I could also watch the FRC which I just happen to have recorded!

ReplyDeleteWell I actually decided to watch the second installment of More to Love -- its only the second week and its a repeat - -guess I am crossing that off my watch list -- wasn't that enthralled anyway.
My husband is watching the AFI top ten of the top ten genres so what the heck may as well give it my attention and see what I can see.

Ok for Susan - May I suggest NOT watching the new version of Brideshead Revisted that came out recently. It was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. (Imagine my saying that while drinking tea and in a British accent.) It was so bad that despite my love of Jeremy Irons I do not want to watch your version I don't think... I love British film so this really flopped for me.
ReplyDeleteMonday was really tough, I missed watching the boys! I am watching Dating in the Dark which is hilarious. I am also watching More to Love which is mixed. I feel like there are some truths that are universal:
No matter what your size, shape, sex there are:
1. Always going to be jerks
2. Always going to be kind wonderful people
3. Always going to be whiners
4. Always going to be people that roll with the punches and are true to who they are, and others that will never grasp their own identity.
Side note: Jesse invited me to a wine thing via FB. Of course I RSVPed YES... then saw WES was playing at it! RUN AWAY RUN AWAY! Oh and it was in Dallas. LOL

Nothing dramatic to report unfortunately. He is my friend on facebook and he posted an invite about this wine tasting in Austin/Dallas not sure which. The one nice thing about being his friend is I get to see his tagged photo. He hangs with Kip and Juan a bit... sans shirts... on the beach. Its quite nice.
